On April 15, 2013, the Government Accountability Board will be mailing Notice of Suspension of Registration Postcards to voters who are subject to the Four-Year Voter Record Maintenance.  These voters will be given a status of “Active – Suspended (4 Years Notice)” in the Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS).  These voters will still show up on poll lists and, in all respects, function like any other Active voter until the voter responds, the postcard is returned as undeliverable, or the 30-day response deadline passes.   

On April 15, 2013 the list of voters who were sent postcards will be available through the G.A.B.’s Election Data Website (http://electiondata.gab.wi.gov), which utilizes Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  This is the website clerks use to print their Ineligible Voter Lists each election. Returned postcards can be processed through the Election Data Website or through SVRS. Instructional materials and a training video on processing returned post-cards will be posted to the G.A.B. website on April 10, 2013.  

A webinar session will be held on April 18, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The webinar will cover frequently asked questions related to processing returned post cards and provide clerks with an opportunity to ask questions of G.A.B. staff.  A separate webinar invitation and instructions will be provided soon.  Clerks with questions may contact the G.A.B.
