Wisconsin’s lobbying law permits lobbyists and organizations that employ lobbyists to contribute to political campaigns but places restrictions on when a lobbyist and an organization that employs a lobbyist may make or convey a campaign contribution to a partisan elected state official or candidate for partisan elected state offical. These restrictions apply only to lobbyists and organizations that employ them, but neither may avoid them by making a campaign contribution via a conduit or other intermediary or agent.
