Upcoming Baseline Courses
This course is required of new Chief Inspectors before they can serve as an election official. Once they have taken the 3-hour Baseline course, they are certified to conduct elections in the 2012-2013 term. They will need to obtain another three hours of approved election training - for a total of six hours - by December 31, 2013 to recertify for the 2014-2015 term. All Chief Inspectors need six hours of approved election training every two years to maintain their certification.
Baseline training is (unless otherwise noted) for:
- New (never-before-certified) chief inspectors
- Chief inspectors who lost their certification
- Municipal clerks for recertification training hours (once per term)
Please note that attendance at Baseline training by currently-certified chief inspectors will not count toward recertification hours - unless otherwise noted on the registration form.
